On March 6, 2012, we officially opened the "training table"...  a feeding program that will provide all 30 rhinos a nutritious meal every day!  

We are calling the program "Kids4Kids" (or "Ninos para Ninos") because it is a children's ministry in Savannah, GA that is supporting the initiative.  Kids from Savannah Christian Church who give their tithes/offerings every week are supporting the costs necessary to make this effort possible.  30 boys, 5 days a week... thats 150 meals a week, or 600 meals per month!

Honestly, we were not expecting the day we launched the training table to be so emotional.  Before we made the announcement, we asked the boys what they had eaten so far that day - most had not eaten a thing, and many only a tortilla.  Just this simple reminder brought tears to our eyes.  It also made the anticipation of the announcement that much more special.  Their reaction to the news was genuine, sweet, surprised, and totally blown away!
