A new BVSA Academy plant and church plant is underway in the region of Quiché, Guatemala. Mostly central highlands and mountain ranges, Quiché is a beautiful forest region of Guatemala, where 89% of the people are considered indigenous Mayan. The K'iche' people make up the majority of the population, and most still speak the original K'iche' language.
The Johnson and Lopez families relocated to Quiché in early 2022 and the Spires family joined in July 2023. In addition to being another BVSA Academy, the Quiché Academy is also our training center for missionaries and church planters. Click here to see more on the church plant, Santa Cruz Bible Church.
